DepositsBack.app is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services of any kind. Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using DepositsBack.app at depositsback.app (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by residents of the United States only.
Description of service
- upload and organize lease documents and related files;
- extract and confirm factual information from uploaded documents;
- format and review a neutral written notice regarding a security deposit;
- send that notice through third-party mailing providers;
- track mailing delivery status; and
- organize case documents and official resources into a downloadable case bundle.

- represent users in any legal proceeding;
- apply law to individual facts or circumstances;
- recommend legal strategy or courses of action;
- calculate legal penalties, damages, or remedies; or
- guarantee any outcome or result.

User responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the content of any notice sent through the Service and for your decisions about how to proceed with your matter.
Acceptable use
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- upload fraudulent, forged, or falsified documents;
- impersonate any person or entity;
- harass, threaten, or harm any individual;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or any third-party systems used to operate it; or
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service.
Account suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, provided false information, or engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct.
User content
You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. By uploading content, you grant DepositsBack.app a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, format, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Third-party providers
We use third-party service providers to support functions such as payment processing, mailing, hosting, storage, OCR or AI-assisted processing, and email delivery. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
Payments and fees
All fees are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize DepositsBack.app to charge the payment method you provide for the applicable fee. Our Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service availability
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including outages or failures of third-party providers.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. DepositsBack.app does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any notice or document will achieve any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DepositsBack.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In no event shall DepositsBack.app’s total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to DepositsBack.app in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
